Founded in 1950, Ruidoso Hondo Valley Hospital became Lincoln County Medical Center in 1973 when Presbyterian Healthcare Services leased the facility from Lincoln County. Lincoln County Medical Center (LCMC) has a long tradition of providing high quality, low-cost, accessible health care to all Lincoln County residents and visitors. We are proud of this tradition and dedicated to our mission: to improve the health of individuals, families and communities.

By way of fulfilling this mission, Lincoln County Medical Center has assembled a highly qualified staff of medical professionals representing an amazing array of specialties. LCMC works in collaboration with over
21 physicians who have full-time practices in Ruidoso, including four board-certified emergency medicine physicians. LCMC provides a range of services, including comprehensive emergency, diagnostic and surgical care. Residents of Lincoln County are fortunate to have this excellent healthcare resource, which provides many of the same services as larger metropolitan hospitals.
