Shuttle Service

Shuttle Ruidoso - 877-90-DRIVE - (575) 336-1683 - Providing scheduled shuttle service connecting in Alamogordo to the El Paso International Airport, and service to Sierra Blanca Regional Airport.  Group tours. Direct charter service to both Albuquerque and El Paso International Airports by reservation.

Alamo Shuttle - 575-437-1472 or 800-872-2701. This shuttle service runs five daily shuttles between Alamogordo, NM and the El Paso International Airport. It is best to make a reservation in advance as seats are limited. Stations are in the Best Western Desert Aire at 1401 White Sands Blvd and in the baggage claim area of the El Paso Airport. Travelers can connect this shuttle with the Ruidoso Shuttle listed above. Alamogordo is just over a one hour drive from Mid-Town Ruidoso.

Airport Information

Sierra Blanca Regional Airport - 575-336-8111 - This airport serves Ruidoso and Lincoln County and is owned by the Village of Ruidoso. The paved runway extends for 8,101 feet and sits at an elevation of 6800 feet. Sierra Blanca Airport is located about 18 miles northeast of the village. For those flying in by private aircraft the following information is provided: The main runway is 060/240 magnetic at 6811 ft. elevation, 8100 ft. length, paved, with paved taxi strips. DME is 110.7 mHz. Unicom is 122.8 mHz. Radio controlled runway lights also 122.8 mHz. Lighted VASI & PLASI. Phone number for AWOS is 575-336-8455 and radio AWOS is 126.475 mHz.

El Paso International Airport is located about 125 miles south of Ruidoso. It is served by most major airlines and rental car companies. A shuttle is available to Alamogordo, about 40 miles from Ruidoso that connects to Shuttle Ruidoso in Alamogordo. Avis, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and others have rental cars in El Paso and Alamogordo and Enterprise has rental cars in Ruidoso for those using the Shuttle services.

Albuquerque International Airport is located about 200 miles north of Ruidoso. It is served by most major airlines and rental car companies.
